Job Position – Embeded Firmware Lead

Job Position – Embedded Firmware Lead To design embedded firmware for data center environment and energy monitor product on RTOS and Linux Platform.

Essential Functions

  • Design, verification, specification, and qualification of data center environment and energy monitor product firmware
    • Using firmware ‘development and debug’ tools for development of products based on networking capabilities.
  • Creation of Target and Application optimized embedded Linux distributions
  • Development and customization of Linux Kernel drivers to support customized peripheral or on-board devices, or highly optimized use of standard peripherals
  • Specification of user-driver APIs that include standard peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, RTC
  • Development of userland application code in embedded Linux systems, specifically code for testing driver interfaces and for enabling the use of standard software environments
  • Maintain released product firmware upgrade

    • Education – Minimum Required Level

    Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronics Or Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

    Experience – Minimum Required

  • Total 6+ years working experience, 3+ years direct experience with embedded firmware design.
  • 2+ year working experience in embedded Linux platform, Experience in embedded Linux user software development
  • Demonstrated experience with micro-controller and micro-processor programming
  • Experience with ANSI-C and Assembly language
  • Experience in the use of ARM Cortex A class chips, with a focus on peripheral application/IO

    Summary of the Job

    Job Position – Buyer Executive

    Perform sourcing activities for all Transfer projects / New projects for all Electrical commodities including RFQ, samples and support for qualification.

    Essential Functions

    • Understand the drawing, and specification.
    •  Coordinate with Strategy Sourcing Teams, able to select the suitable supplier for all Electrical commodities
    •  New supplier sourcing and supplier selection. Evaluate suppliers' quality, Capacity, Cost, technology, lead time, services, etc., and select the most suitable supply resources for the company.
    •  Negotiation and balance the needs till meet the most commercial, technical and quality target.
    •  Support SQE for PPAP approval and handle supplier NCRs for daily work.
    •  Support the local production on delivery issues. Work with Engineering & Quality Dep. and warehouse keeper to make material receiving in time as per planner schedule.
    •  Work with SQE to improve supplier performance and drive supplier to make continuous improvement.
    • Propose technical evolutions to achieve cost reduction.
    •  Drive to reach personal and department KPI targets OTD – Supplier Quality – Cost reduction.
    •  Purchasing NoN -BOM materials / Essentials /Consumables for Production Line
    •  Awareness of Electrical raw material certifications like wires, power chords etc.
    •  Able to understand electrical drawings which include Sub parts and special instructions.
    •  Should be fluent in using ERP systems like SAP /Oracle / Syteline
    •  Should be able to analyze BOM structure
    •  Should be able to suggest alternate or equivalent parts.

    Education – Minimum Required Level

    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent is mandatory.

    Experience – Minimum Required

    3 - 5 years working experience in purchasing or related position of industrial product.
